TAILYR is a love letter and an offering of gratitude to the women who have given this world and our communities so much beauty, ability, and rich history. Our aim is to highlight and actively contribute to a new story of connection, honesty and meaningful service, starting with black women. It is important for us to demonstrate and amplify the beauty and contributions of women of color through our creative work.
Our design approach is an exploration of contrast and balance. We challenge ourselves to create approachable silhouettes nuanced by intriguing and flexible details that work together to make each piece not only special, but functional.
Our pieces are not only beautifully crafted, they are designed to inspire an experience of self-love, femininity, and joy. We honor the creativity, versatility, and nurturing spirit of women of color, and we hope our story is one that contributes meaningful value to yours.

T A I L Y R is committed to creating luxury products that are timeless and thoughtfully crafted to exist in harmony with our humanity and our environments. We aim to strike a balance between meaningful design, quality tailoring and sustainable use.
We are practicing an approach to garment making that considers the people, and ecosystems involved, and in a way that does not deprive to attain. Our pieces are meant to have a long life in your wardrobe and be continuously re-imagined throughout the flow of life.
T A I L Y R focuses on using biodegradable fabrics, minimal impact dye solutions, recycled products, eco-conscious sourcing, and local development and manufacturing through the use of fair labor. We are designed, developed, and manufactured in California.
